Your surgeon or surgical facility determines the discharge and caregiver requirements that apply to your procedure. Elevé can provide supplemental postoperative nursing when private professional support is appropriate for your recovery plan.
Can I recover in a hotel after plastic surgery?
Qualifying patients may receive scheduled Elevé services in a hotel when the recovery environment is appropriate and consistent with the patient's postoperative plan and discharge arrangements.
What does a post-op nurse help with at home?
Depending on the procedure and services arranged, postoperative nursing may include observation, medication routine support, mobility and positioning, toileting and personal care, hydration, meals, procedure-specific needs, and appropriate escalation of postoperative concerns.
Is private postoperative nursing the same as home health?
Elevé provides scheduled supplemental postoperative nursing for eligible discharged patients. It does not replace medically necessary home health, rehabilitation, emergency care, or other provider-ordered services.
