Surgical facilities may have their own requirements regarding who may receive a patient after anesthesia or sedation. Elevé transportation must be compatible with the facility’s discharge policy.
A Required Responsible Adult Is Still Required
Transportation does not automatically replace a responsible adult when your surgeon or surgical facility specifically requires one during or after discharge.
Transportation Is Non-Emergency
Elevé transportation is not an ambulance, medical transport service, or emergency service. Patients requiring emergency medical transportation require the appropriate emergency service.

Availability depends on your surgery date, surgical facility, destination, distance, timing, staffing, and other case details.

Is transportation included with my nursing package?
Transportation inclusion varies by the specific service or package booked. Review your selected recovery package or contact Elevé for confirmation.
Can you take me to a hotel after surgery?
An approved hotel or other private recovery setting may be an eligible destination depending on the case, surgical facility requirements, location, and arrangements.
What if I live more than 30 miles away?
Standard transportation pricing covers up to 30 driving miles from the surgical practice. Extended-distance transportation may be available for an additional fee.
Does Elevé replace the adult my surgery center requires?
Not automatically. If your surgeon or facility requires a designated responsible adult, that requirement remains in effect unless your surgical facility specifically accepts the arrangements made for your case.
