Elevé is expanding private postoperative nursing to select outpatient surgical procedures.
Some surgeries do not require hospitalization — but that does not mean patients always feel prepared to manage the first hours of recovery at home. Our upcoming outpatient recovery services are being designed to give eligible patients access to private, one-to-one RN support after surgical discharge.
Professional Support for the Part That Happens After Discharge.
When outpatient recovery services launch, eligible patients may be able to receive scheduled private RN support in a residence, hotel, or other approved recovery environment.
Postoperative Assessment
Focused nursing assessment and general recovery review, including vital signs when appropriate.
Medication Schedule Support
Reinforcement of the postoperative medication routine already established by the treating team.
Mobility & Personal Assistance
Help with transfers, walking, toileting, positioning, and other early recovery needs according to provider instructions.
Hydration & Comfort
Assistance with hydration, nutrition, positioning, and non-pharmacologic comfort measures during early recovery.
Dressing & Incision Observation
Observation within RN scope and according to available postoperative instructions.
Caregiver Education
Reinforcement of postoperative instructions so caregivers better understand how to support the patient after the nurse leaves.
Documentation
Scheduled nursing encounters are documented as part of the Elevé recovery record.
Appropriate Escalation
Concerning postoperative findings can be communicated according to established instructions and escalation protocols.
Outpatient Recovery Care Will Be Evaluated Individually.
Elevé is developing this service carefully. Eligibility will depend on the procedure, discharge instructions, patient needs, recovery environment, caregiver requirements, location, and whether intermittent private-duty nursing is appropriate.
Elevé care begins after the patient has been discharged from the surgical facility.
Nursing support is based on the recovery plan established by the treating team.
Elevé does not replace a responsible adult when the surgeon or facility requires one.
Patients requiring emergency care, hospitalization, or a higher level of skilled services are not appropriate for routine concierge recovery nursing.
