Patients & Families
Before You Book.
Understanding what postoperative support looks like before surgery can make planning your recovery much easier.
What is Elevé Surgical Concierge?
Elevé provides private postoperative recovery support for patients after surgery. Depending on the service selected, care may include assistance with mobility, transfers, personal care, medication routines, hydration, positioning, comfort, postoperative observation and other recovery needs.
Is Elevé the same as home health?
No. Elevé is a private postoperative recovery service designed to provide individualized nursing support during scheduled periods of care.
Elevé does not replace your surgeon, physical therapist, occupational therapist, home-health provider or other members of your medical team.
What types of surgery do you support?
Elevé offers postoperative recovery services for eligible cosmetic and orthopedic procedures.
Examples may include facial cosmetic surgery, breast procedures, body-contouring surgery, liposuction, tummy tuck, joint replacement and other qualifying orthopedic procedures.
Service appropriateness depends on your individual procedure, discharge plan and recovery needs.
Where can I receive care?
Depending on your recovery plan, services may be provided in your home, hotel or another approved recovery setting.
Location and scheduling are reviewed before services are confirmed.
Does my family still need to be involved?
Family and loved ones are always welcome to remain part of your support system.
Elevé allows your family to focus on being family rather than unexpectedly becoming responsible for every hands-on detail of your postoperative routine.
Can my nurse help with my medications?
Your Elevé nurse may assist with your established postoperative medication routine according to your surgical discharge instructions and applicable provider orders.
Elevé does not independently prescribe medications, change prescribed doses or create a new medication plan.
Can Elevé help with drains, dressings or incisions?
Your nurse may observe drains, dressings and incisions when applicable to your procedure and recovery plan.
Nursing interventions are performed only when appropriate within nursing scope and consistent with your established postoperative instructions and orders.
What happens if my nurse notices something concerning?
Appropriate postoperative concerns can be escalated according to your established recovery plan and provider communication protocols.
With patient authorization, Elevé may communicate relevant concerns to your surgical practice when appropriate.
Does Elevé replace my surgeon?
No. Your surgeon and surgical practice remain responsible for your surgical treatment and medical follow-up.
Elevé provides postoperative nursing and recovery support around the care plan already established by your surgical team.
What if I have a medical emergency?
Elevé is not a substitute for emergency medical services.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
When should I request postoperative care?
Earlier planning is recommended because nursing availability is limited and many patients prefer to have their recovery arrangements confirmed before surgery day.
You may still submit a request closer to your surgery date, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
What if I don't know which recovery package I need?
That's completely fine.
You can submit your procedure and recovery information through the appropriate service page and select that you're unsure which level of support you need.
Elevé can review the request and discuss the available options with you.
Surgical & Medical Practices
For Your Patients.
Elevé is designed to support the recovery plan your practice has already established while giving patients additional hands-on support after discharge.
What does Elevé provide for postoperative patients?
Elevé provides private one-to-one postoperative nursing and recovery support after surgical discharge.
Services may include postoperative observation, medication assistance, mobility and transfer assistance, activities of daily living, toileting, positioning, nutrition and hydration support, and observation of dressings, incisions and drains when applicable.
Does Elevé replace home health?
No. Elevé is not intended to replace medically necessary home-health services, physical therapy, occupational therapy or other ordered clinical services.
Elevé provides private postoperative nursing support around the patient's established surgical and recovery plan.
Does Elevé replace the surgical practice's postoperative care?
No. The surgical practice remains responsible for the patient's surgical treatment, medical decision-making and postoperative follow-up.
Elevé supports the patient between those interactions by assisting with the practical and hands-on needs of recovery during scheduled nursing coverage.
Can Elevé follow our postoperative instructions?
Elevé nursing support is designed to work within the patient's established discharge instructions, applicable provider orders and the nurse's legal scope of practice.
Practice-specific postoperative instructions can be reviewed as part of the patient's recovery plan when appropriate.
How are postoperative concerns communicated?
When clinically appropriate and authorized by the patient, relevant postoperative concerns may be communicated to the surgical practice using established communication protocols.
Elevé does not independently diagnose or alter the surgeon's treatment plan.
Can we refer patients directly to Elevé?
Practices may direct interested patients to Elevé to explore available postoperative recovery services.
Patients can then submit their own recovery request, allowing Elevé to review scheduling, service needs and the relevant postoperative plan before care is confirmed.
Can Elevé support both cosmetic and orthopedic patients?
Yes. Elevé offers separate recovery pathways for cosmetic surgery and orthopedic procedures.
The level and type of support are matched to the patient's procedure, discharge instructions and individual recovery needs.
Can Elevé provide postoperative transportation?
Transportation may be coordinated for eligible patients as part of selected services or as an available add-on, depending on the patient's package, location and scheduling availability.
Can a patient's family still participate in recovery?
Absolutely.
The goal is not to remove loved ones from recovery. Elevé can provide professional hands-on support while allowing the patient's family to remain involved without becoming solely responsible for postoperative nursing needs.
What information should a practice provide?
The information needed may vary based on the patient and procedure.
Relevant discharge instructions, postoperative restrictions, provider orders and appropriate contact information help support continuity between the surgical practice and the patient's private recovery care.
How do we discuss a professional relationship with Elevé?
Practices interested in discussing referrals, postoperative support, patient education or other professional collaboration can submit a practice inquiry.
You may also contact Elevé directly at info@elevatedbyeleve.com .
Can we contact Elevé before referring our first patient?
Yes. Practices are welcome to contact Elevé before referring patients to discuss services, patient needs, communication expectations and how postoperative support may fit into the practice's existing workflow.
